3 CEO-level Mindsets You Should Have!
It's not uncommon for entrepreneurs to build a business that feels like a job because of the strain on their bandwidth. But if you want to scale and experience exponential growth in your business, you'll need to understand and execute the CEO mindset.
Here are three CEO-level mindsets that create freedom and financial independence that aligns with your values, purpose and vision.
1. Understand the importance of self-prioritization. It is not egocentric to prioritize ourselves, needs, goals and the way we spend our time. There is a big difference between being selfish and self-prioritizing. Our goal should be to put ourselves first and give from a place of abundance. Self-prioritization means you work on yourself, your goals, and the tasks you need to accomplish (first) and then let the outside world have access to your energy.
2. Tune out the unsolicited requests for your energy. As hard as it can be to say no, it has to become a daily habit if you're going to spend your time on the tasks and goals that help you optimize your energy. Your energy should be spent in a focused and intentional way if you're going to have enough of it.
3. Spend your time building a business that aligns with your vision. Your goal should be to build a business that aligns with your vision of entrepreneurship. It's okay to model success. It's fine to use the success of others as inspiration, but at the end of the day, this business has to be your business.
Be the CEO of your business. Spend your time working on creating the type of business that gives you true freedom, financial independence, and the ability to do work that fulfills your purpose.
The ‘Worst Hack In Years’ Hits Apple Computers
While this article appeared a couple of months ago, it's not to late to advise you of a potential issue with your Mac, and why you should keep software up-to-date on all your devices.
Apple Mac users are being urged to update their macOS software now, as they’re at “grave risk” of hackers exploiting what’s been described as one of the worst vulnerabilities to affect the tech giant’s computers in years.
Malicious hackers can and have created malware that, though unsigned, is misclassified by Apple’s operating system, thanks to a logic error in macOS’ code. That means malware can skip all the checks done by Apple’s security mechanisms like Gatekeeper and File Quarantine, which are designed to stop any unapproved, dangerous apps from running.
How do they do it? The hackers have to convince a user to download or run an app that’s not in the App Store or allowed by Apple. But once that’s done, the malware won’t be stopped installing by the Mac’s defensive tools.
How can you protect yourself? Make sure that your device is always updated to the latest software.
