Pro Website Creators AI Discussion Week 6: Smart Tools and Smarter Workflows
What we tried this week
Perplexity Browser Summaries (around 01:00–08:00)
Dave tested how the Perplexity AI Browser can summarize long YouTube videos or web content into quick takeaways. Instead of watching a 20-minute tutorial, you can ask Perplexity to “extract key takeaways” or “summarize this video.” It’s ideal for scanning WordPress how-to’s, training clips, or even guitar lessons before deciding which ones to watch fully.
AI-Generated Newsletters (around 09:00–11:00)
The team explored ClickMinded’s free AI newsletter builder, which creates a branded newsletter from a short description of your business. Dave showed how easily it builds a first draft—perfect for anyone who wants to test automated content without starting from scratch.
ClickMinded Marketing Toolkit (11:00–13:00)
They reviewed more ClickMinded tools: marketing-strategy generators, keyword planners, post remixers, and prompt generators. Reg shared that the Post Remixer quickly rephrased Hire My VA blog posts into fresh captions and graphics ideas.
Gemini Quick Access Trick (13:00–13:30)
Type questions directly into your Chrome address bar, like “how to create a landing page without HTML”, and Gemini answers instantly—no need to open the full app.
News and experiments that stood out
Raindrop A/B Testing for AI Agents (13:40)
New enterprise tool for testing updates in AI agents. Interesting concept, though it needs many users to get real data.
AI Shopping in India (14:00–20:00)
ChatGPT and Gemini now enable in-chat product discovery and purchases. Dave tested shoe recommendations and the group discussed trust and payment security, comparing it to the early days of online shopping. The takeaway: try recommendations inside ChatGPT, but make final purchases through trusted stores for now.
Spot It Early: Dogs + AI for Cancer Detection (28:30)
A biotech startup trained beagles to detect cancer through breath samples and used AI to validate results—a reminder that AI’s biggest breakthroughs are often in healthcare.
NVIDIA, AI Chips, and Global Power Plays (29:00)
U.S. approvals for NVIDIA exports show how AI is shaping geopolitics, not just tech.
AI Appeals Platform (29:30)
Startups now help clinics use AI to draft insurance appeals, cutting approval time and increasing success rates.
Gemini Enterprise and Amazon Agents (31:00)
Google and Amazon are embedding AI directly inside their workplace suites. The team discussed whether separate apps or integrated systems make more sense for small businesses.
“AI Won’t Replace Developers” (32:00)
Warp CEO Zach Lloyd: “You want to be the person who knows how to use the tool, not the one replaced by it.” Everyone agreed that learning AI skills is the real job security.
AI Summaries for Social Media (33:00)
Using Perplexity or Comet to read, summarize, and repurpose long-form content into quick posts or tweets—huge for saving time on content creation.
Agent Kit & Google Opal (37:00–42:00)
Two standout tools:
Agent Kit: lets you visually build AI agents using drag-and-drop components.
Google Opal: creates simple no-code apps like a Content Idea Generator for LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram. The team plans to experiment with it next week.
Gemini 2.5 Computer Use (40:50)
Google’s newest model can literally “click buttons and fill forms” in your browser—an early step toward full automation.
ChatGPT + Canva Carousel Creation (41:00–41:30)
Dave demoed how to generate a LinkedIn carousel directly inside ChatGPT using Canva integration. Create slides, tweak copy, and hit publish—all in one workflow.
