The Challenge:
Maryann Ehmann came to us with a website that was fully functional but did not reflect the heart of her work. The home page logo carried too many words and was hard to read on smaller screens, the hero area opened with a heavy block of text, and her services and programs were presented as long stretches of copy rather than clear, scannable sections. Her message centers on co-creating with God, and the old site lacked the warmth and reverence that vision deserved. She wanted a redesign that felt less like a standard business site and more like a personal, sacred invitation.
The Solution:
PWC rebuilt the site from the ground up to reflect Maryann's vision, giving it a warm, reverent, whimsical "love letter from God" feel through soft gold and rich teal watercolor tones and elegant typography, while keeping everything clear and easy to act on.
Steps Taken:
- Redesigned the entire website around Maryann's vision of a warm, reverent, whimsical feel, like a handwritten love letter rather than a standard business site.
- Created a new logo that fit the new design and read clearly even on smaller screens.
- Switched to a softer font style and introduced gold gradients and a rich teal watercolor texture used consistently across the site.
- Reworked the home page so the hero focused on Maryann, her main goal, and how to start working with her or view her book.
- Kept much of her original copy, with Daphne drafting the initial text from Maryann's supplemental documents so she had a starting point to refine.
- Added a floating wax-seal button on the lower right that links to the Contact page from anywhere on the site.
- Sectioned her services cleanly under Work With Me so they no longer read as one wall of text.
- Built a dedicated About page covering who she is, her family, and her number one bestselling book.
- Created a speaker page with signature-talk tiles and its own dedicated inquiry form, separate from the main contact form.
The Result:
The new site captures Maryann's vision in a way the old one never did, pairing a warm, reverent, storybook feel with a clear structure that makes it easy for visitors to learn about her, explore her services, and reach out.
What the site can do now:
- Lets visitors connect from anywhere on the site through the floating wax-seal Contact button.
- Presents services in clean, scannable sections instead of dense blocks of text.
- Gives event organizers a dedicated speaker page where they can pick a signature talk and invite Maryann through its own form.
- Showcases her bestselling book and praises on a focused About page.
- Reads clearly on smaller screens thanks to the new logo and softer typography.
Maryann was hands-on throughout the project, and the result is a site that genuinely reflects her vision and leaves her clients feeling personally invited in.
