Virtual Team Building Ideas: Break World Records!

Many of us have been either forced to or encouraged to work from home due to the pandemic. While it’s been important for us to take a serious approach to our new working lifestyle, from learning how to sit properly at a computer to finding the best ergonomic office chair that suits us, it’s also important that we refrain from working ourselves too hard.

While working from home has been positive for some people, others have found it hard to switch off from work and find themselves glued to the screen even more than if they were in the office! This can be bad for your mental health.

With this in mind, here's a FUNNY INFOGRAPHIC that will take the edge off your stress levels by partaking in a little mindless fun to help break up your day. AND you can turn these into fun team-building activities you can do virtually!

Echoing what was stated above, the below image is from an email sent by Dave's optometrist recently, and they've done several things to ensure communication kept going:

1. Actively maintain your email list. This is how they communicated to me quickly that there were problems. So you can use an email list not only for marketing purposes, but also for emergency communications.

2. Use text capability. There are several services you can use to text to your clients, and you can get the word out that way as well.

3. When there's a problem, let people know the cause. While you don't need to tell them everything in detail, it helps to mention what you know.

4. Let them know when service is back to normal. They did NOT do this as Dave hasn't heard anything back yet. Please don't call attention to a fire and then not let your clients know when the fire has gone out.
